The iwis-CCM is an innovative intelligent control system for the continuous monitoring of chain wear elongation. This system can be used to monitor chains in operation giving early warning that a chain is worn and needs to be replaced. The iwis-CCM unit has a streamlined modular construction that does not require calibration and can be quickly and easily integrated with no need for special additional components. Chain wear status is displayed directly on the system's built-in LED display, and can also be displayed on an external computer via a USB connection (USB cable and software included). The iwis-CCM offers precise, contact-free measurement with no direct interference in the chain drive. Additionally, this device is equally effective on simplex, duplex, and triplex chains. The iwis-CCM is designed for normal industrial environmental conditions in climates from 0°C (32°F) to 70°C (158°F).
